Recommend Me Movies

Geoff

Sir "Let's Play"
I've been searching around and I can't find any decent movie that I haven't already seen. I'm not really looking for big blockbuster hits. Most of my favorite movies are ones that I had never heard of before. Like the Cube series, those are fantastic. Or The Man From Earth.

Anyway, if anyone has some good ones, post them here. Try to aim for anything after 2005.

Rock N Rolla (Action type movie)
Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball (Liked the 2nd one better than the 1st)
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (me and my friend laughed so hard the entire movie)
Unicorn City (About D&D type gamers who start their own fantasy camp. Very good story. A little funny and heart warming)

Alright, went through them. Not bad. Already seen the Smokin' Aces movies, loved them.

Any others?

Okay, for me here are a unique list

Little big soldier is a funny Jackie chan modern movie

And of course one of my favorite cult films

That's right after a freak lawn mower accident a scientist is distraught with the death of his wife that he kills hookers, (in a really funny way) and puts them together to bring his wife back to life but things don't go as planned.

This one is old, but FistS of the White Lotus. It's a kung-fu movie. Amazing story and action. My favorite kung-fu movie of all time. It's uploaded to Youtube.

It's about the head of the White Lotus Clan. He kills this guys brother. So the brother goes for revenge. He tries to kill him but fails and almost dies. The clan master is so fast that he has to learn to fight like a woman so he can get in close. That fails too so he has to learn acupuncture. Again he almost fails and dies. He has to learn a new technique and go back a 3rd time. If you love kung-fu movies it's a must see.

Oh wow...it's really been this long since I made this topic?

To 13thforsworn, seen Inception (loooong movie), seen the Matrix trilogy (confused through half of it) and I LOVE The Day After Tomorrow. But you know what? I haven't seen that one in awhile, time to get it!

So yeah, I'm bumping this topic for a reason. Any more movie ideas?

Damn, can't remember the title, but there was this one movie, about pizza delivery guy, but the lady that answered the door couldn't afford to pay for the pizza...

:D
(whelp, there goes the neigbourhood/thread)

Indie Game: The Movie

It's a tale about 3 indie games. It was very interesting. I skipped through quite a bit, as a lot of the scenes were just showing the guys waking up and doing other bullshit activities. Nevertheless, it's informative for any gamer.

It's on Netflix.

You CAN edit posts you know. =P

Anyway, seen Project X and it was a strangely awesome movie. Is the Abraham Lincoln the GOOD movie that was in theaters? I know there were two of these Lincoln vampire slaying movies made and one was like direct to dvd or some shit.

Edit: A google search shows me there is just a movie called Lincoln...why the fuck would they make that movie the same year as the vampire one? lol. Why is Lincoln popular in 2012?
