Here are some scans, opening times, and steals that are catching my eye. I encourage you to look at the advertisements yourself. For TVs, harddrives, etc I picked the best value out of the stores that carried them. A little perspective on who I am: a male college bum who plays video games all day; prefers spending money on electronics than high end clothes. Still waiting on Gamestop scans...

Walmart - 8:00 PM on Thursday Second round of doorbusters at 10 PM. There will be 3 different "waves" by Walmart, where they release three different sets of doorbusters. The scans I linked show the ads with their corresponding wave.

    Meaty Favorites

    - 198$ 40" Emerson LCD; 295$ 50" Emerson LCD

Target - 9:00 PM on Thursday through 11:00 PM Friday.

I'm getting jazzed about the $1 GS3 over at Sam's club. Probably going to get membership just for the phone because it will still be cheaper than everywhere else. Especially since I've got to buy 2.

Watch out for "limit 1 per customer" or "1 per member". If it turns out the deal goes south due to complications, Walmart is selling Galaxy S3s for 129$ with a 100$ gift card which is the next-best deal I could find.

That one from wal-mart still requires contract renewal correct?

I'd like to point out that you're wrong about the Best Buy Blu Ray DVD prices. It is $1.99 for regular DVD's. The Blu Rays start at $3.99.

Think I'm going to press my luck and go for a xbox 360 at walmart this year...

Keep in mind that a lot of the deals will also be online. Doorbusters...perhaps not, but it's also key to remember that there's usually only a handful of the good stuff. I'm personally in the market for a TV, but there's no way I'm going to camp out all night for any of this. It's cold and windy here... and with my luck we'd have the normal 35 MPH winds in 15 degree weather.

I've been hoping on a good deal on a 32in+ tv with wifi... but no such luck yet :(

Also, best buy has the $179 Toshiba 40 inch

I do all my Black Friday shopping online. I laugh at people who stand in line for hours. Even at my store my coworkers talk about deals and the ones that are lucky enough to not have to come in to work until noon stand in line to buy stuff. Then they get disappointed when the thing we had 10 of gets sold out in 30 seconds. Meanwhile I'm shopping online either Thanksgiving Day or at Midnight on Friday, have the item shipped to my house, and avoid the crazy shit that is Black Friday. One year I even woke up like 9 AM and bought something online that was sold out in my store at 5 AM.

I think the whole thing is really fun. I actually enjoy camping in lines waiting for explosive shopping. Reminds me of the first time I camped -- November in 2006 for my Nintendo Wii in the snow. It was a great time. Black Friday is a big thing with all of my teenage cousins now. Most of them don't even buy anything, but they love the atmosphere that wreaks of excitement and that slight feel of disorganization and chaos. Last year I got a PS3 for 150$, a 3DS, and a 40" TV for 200$. Worth it, tons of fun, and probably a night of experiences I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Or you get something like this

    And someone died 1 year

As an employee with about 50 coworkers vs a crowd of 1,000-2,000 people running through the door looking for $200 laptops it's like stepping into Hell.
