Pretty cool tool. It's featured on Steam Greenlight. There's a free version to try out with only a few negligible limitations. Or you can purchase a personal copy for around $120 (temporarily on sale on Steam for $100)

Link to different versions (including free)

so they want you to pay 120 dollars for something that could be done for free pretty much with notepad or notepad ++ >.>

Except does Notepad have drag and drop? Can you just highlight an object and give it properties? This game simplifies it. If you can do Microsoft Office you can make a game.

yet you take away the experience of actually spending hours coding away and being excited when it works :p and microsoft office will prob cost more then construct 2 :p

I know the feeling of making code work. I programmed on the TI 83+ graphing calculators in high school. I just knew the Basic language, none of that fancy Assembly stuff. I made basic math programs to some very basic (read: bullshit) games. I had one that was like a party game. It had about 4 different minigames. It was a great time killer in class. But I have no idea how to program anything better. Don't know how to even create an object that has health, physics, or can move. This is very interesting.

And at the very least I could try to make a Metal Slug clone. <3 Metal Slug.

hence why you read online tutorials or buy books to do with coding in a certain language and go and learn it dont let a program do all the hard work for you :p unless ofcourse you want to be like ea and use an engine time after time and just have 1 person chance the graphics over the course of a year and have someone else rename things and change the ui then ya let a program do all the hard work for you :p
