Holodomor - The 1932-1933 Famine Genocide In Ukraine

So this week is Holodomor remembrance week, and as a Ukrainian, I thought I'd try to do my part to spread awareness to others who don't know what the Holodomor is. Many know of the Holocaust, where Adolf Hitler systematically killed 5 million Jews during World War 2. But not many know of the 7-10 million Ukrainians who were starved to death by Joseph Stalin. What he did still plagues Ukraine to this day in more ways than one. To this day, the Russian government denies there was any genocide, even as the facts are laid out before them. Let us remember those who needlessly died at the hands of a monster.

I remember reading about this tragedy a week or two ago, random internet searching renewed it to my mind and I must say it was horrid yet interesting to learn about something that I find forgotten by many.
