Probably should have got the i7 3770K
 
i7 chips are not worth the premium unless you are using the computer for rendering or mass computations of some sort. The high end i5's are by far the best gaming chips available especially when consider the overclocking headroom.
 
My machine is a couple years old, but still kicks the pants off of most games out there. Never have to turn off the highest settings, though some newer things need the antialiasing and other dumb stuff shut off.

Wish I had the desktop space to go multi-monitor. Well maybe when I buy new furniture for the house in the coming months.
 
Even with your dual gpu setup, can you run stuff at very high settings at that kind of resolution?
