I used to be in the stockrooms all the time and I made them look wonderful but I got a new boss and she just wanted things done fast and now it looks worse than ever. Luckily I'll be moving departments after christmas as I can't stand to go in the stockrooms and see how bad they look.
 
Kinda know what that's like. Over the summer I work for a country club's poolside snack bar serving gourmet "fast" food. Some of our supplies were kept in a storage room which was locked (I don't know who would steal $50 worth of straws, napkins, and plastic cutlery) but everything else was kept across a street in the main kitchen or mislabeled in a random garage . Most cooks usually hated us since we only came to take stuff and just got in the way.

And I hope to join the giveaway if i can get the digital funds together in time, i'm snowed in.

I'm wondering if we should extend the gift-buying deadline from the 22nd, since the steam holiday sale isn't rumoured to start until on December 19th... thoughts? I know in the past people have received and given 2-3 items because their santa picked up some titles that were normally $20 during 75% off deals.
 
What if we have to postpone the purchase of their gift, due to unexpected costs? I fear I may have to do this....

Kidding aside, shoot lava a PM and CC the kraken on it to give them a heads up. I'm sure you can work something out, since the saying goes: "Life" is what happens when you make plans.
 
As far as I know, the date has not changed. I don't know if this is going on from last year or not, but if you can please send me your gifts/codes/ etc.. So that when we are on team speak I can disperse the gifts accordingly. If you do not wish to do that;however, you may hold on to your gift and give it to your secret santa tomorrow, but keep in mind that they will know who you are which defeats the purpose.
 
Update: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will have to postpone our gift exchange until tomorrow evening, at the same time. I apologize for this inconvenience. If you have a conflicting obligation tomorrow, we certainly understand. Please inform myself or Kraken so we can make alternate arrangements for you! :)
 
I likely won't be there, owing to an ice storm I've had no internet since yesterday... and my phone doesn't have enough bandwidth left that I can afford to use it for TS. :sorry
 
SInce not many people were able to show up, how were going to do this is, just give your gift to your secret SAntas. We ask that once you receive your gift that you post on here that you have received your gift. Everyone will have until friday to give the gifts. Thank you :D. Woooooooooooh! I get the feeling I know who my santa was, but yay this was fun! Time to install some games.

I have received mine form Mrs. Lavared herself. I think I will wait till christmas to play, this way I have my new mouse.
