So this was discussed in bawks yesterday and I'd like to get an idea of how much interest there would be in having a (semi?)-regular D&D night.

I'm more than happy to be your sadistic bastard of a DM and if there's enough interest Insanity is going show me the ropes/refresh my memory (been quite a few years since I've played...)

If you're interested... what kind of time can you set aside regularly? Got friends that you know would be interested? How often? How long? (i.e. once/month for a few hours, 1/week for 1 hour, etc.)

POGO has Friday's off. We scrim from about 9:30-10:30 on saturdays/sundays, I kinda think trying to play after the scrims didn't work out to well last time, it was just too late at night.

I am in! I would love to be a part of one. Never have been able to in the past! :)

And as for time. If we could do like an earlier in the evening Saturday or Sunday that would be best. I don't want to have another day monopolized by games (and my wife be mad at me for ignoring her for another day :p)

B4 scrims on saturday's/sundays would probably work out

I wouldn't mind Saturday nights before the scrim...Sunday, I would personally prefer to avoid. I'm learning how to schedule a day for myself! *GASP!

Yeah, it would have to be earlier for me, being so far east means after scrims is _very_ late for me and I have to be up early for work.

Saturdays... So long as I block some bandwidth on my phone for this I should be able to do this if my Internet is flaky... assuming it's not too intensive.

So we got english, me, and lava (i'm assuming lonesome won't be available from his post). how many more people do u want to recruit?

Sounds like we have a good start, I'm going to try getting my DM stuff together this week and hopefully we can get the ball rolling soon! :)

I would say not TOO many more... Every game that always ends up with 182781723 people always goes to shit... Id say 6 people TOPS

Yeah, I agree. Now it's just up to me to get my crap together :p

Rags would make 5, what do u plan on running vint 3.5 or 4?

I'm looking into what's involved but it seems I don't have some of the necessary like rule books and that kind of stuff. Would I have to go out and obtain said items or are there free resources online that could substitute? Insanity already pointed at some tools for building campaigns and maps but where I'm lacking is what's generally allowed, character stats, NPC/enemy stats and what not.

I think we can find everything you need, if you ask nicely.
