[Story Progression] The Great Library of Tephu

All Party: For those who rest immediately it is noon before you wake up and face the day. With Idessa/Aech kinda being part time members at this point I'm going to say that the Mummy's Mask needs go to somebody else at least until their return. I would recommend Memsie as he (not she) could use it to help him be the new main library researcher, but it would go to whoever the party wants it to go to.

Isal: Spending two hours studying all the things you guys liberated from the cultists, you discover that the 6 cloaks are +1 resistance, the 6 Heavy Crossbows are +1, and the 6 Falchions while not being magic are at least masterwork. From Khabek you find that his cloak is +2 resistance, the ring is a +1 ring of protection, the two translucent cloth tubes are actually sleeves of many garments, the dagger is masterwork, and the silver mirror looks very valuable. It is 9am after you rest.

Memsie: Reek needs 8 hours of sleep as well, though he is allowed to sleep in a Familiar Satchel (25 gp) while you carry him around. That would make him unavailable for combat during that time though. And we might start calling you Paris Hilton as well.
 
I'm willing to do something with this Mummy Mask, but that all came about during that period where I excused myself from everybody/thing. Somebody will have to fill me in with some decent amount of details to what I should be doing with the mask, or where I should be conducting research. I know it was mentioned that we do 'battle' with the potential knowledge available, but how do I go about it? How does the mask benefit me? Other than that, those sleeves sound awesome and I'd like those (Objections?), plus I'll spring for an oh-so-hot right now Familiar Satchel. Reek get them Z's when he wants.

Isal will hawk the all the +1 cloaks for the party while the rest of the party sleeps, nd even find Memesie his Familiar Satchel, I leave the +2 open for someone else to take if they so desire.
 
I have Returned, I'll be getting on at different time, but this past week was a bit crazy. I think most of my posts will be like 1-2 PM from here on out, but in like 2 weeks I might be able to do a normal session. Otherwise I'm here to research what's needed. We should also go inform the Governess that we killed a bunch of cultists, since I don't want to have to spend money to get into the super cool library.

I'd also like those Bear traps in the camp before we depart

I see how it is, you don't want Stat's help *sniff*. One of the parts of the story is that you guys still don't know much about the Mummy's Mask, if Aech is back he'll probably keep using it because he's boss with it, but if he gives it to you we'd have a private convo about what it does for you.
 
Idessa would also like those magic sleeves, and is willing to for it a game of dice, or will concede if someone puts forth an argument in the classical rhetorical structure as to why they deserve it.

If Isal hasn't left yet, Idessa will go sell the 6 Cloaks of Resistance +1 with her, else she'll go out with with 5 of the +1 Heavy Crossbows, the 6 Masterwork Falchions, and the very expensive looking silver mirror (feel free to appraise it if you are one of the people with that skill), hunting for the most gullible/generous merchant. Afterwords, she may draft a morose missive notifying Mumminofrah that her attractive man has perished in battle with the enemies of the kingdom, the Ruby Prince, and of the sanctity of Life and Death itself. Oh if only we had been better prepared, learnèd from study of ancient texts in the scholarly city of Tephu, and such a valiant, well-muscled warrior such as Mavruk, the Orc of Wati, but alas local government have proven uncooperative in that affair, if only some greater personage, more powerful, notable, and aware of the events of the greater world, could aid the Iron Covenant in their quest. Others are free to come along if they like (Zanros is especially welcome when dealing with Mumminofrah).

Isal & Idessa: Spending the afternoon in the market selling everything but the mask's the guys wore, nets you 9,600gp. Yes you can honeyed tongue any diplomacy check, but I think you want your first result this time. Also if you are writing to inform Mumminofrah you can send the letter as is. If you are writing to persuade her to do something, please roll a diplomacy and be a little more specific on what you want.
 
200% for 16? ;) In that case Zanros will spend the day dancing for coin while the party goes about their business.
 
After hawking the goods, Isal will go and post in taverns that the Iron Covenant is searching for a new member.
