[SMITE] Ummm why?

What trend? i never saw any major publisher shutting down official game forums and switching to a social network(s).

And in my opinion, forum is a must for online games. It's a community hub where ideas can be discussed, shared and what not. While reddit may seem like a good choice,it's not.
It's full of whiny fanbois who will downvote anything they don't agree with into oblivion.

What trend?

I figured he meant the trend of HiRez killing their games, which apparently they like to do. Let's have a bit of hope that Smite doesn't die here. It's still a fun game, tournaments every weekend and the streamers still streaming! HiRez will realize their mistake soon enough.

I hope HiRez come back with their Official Forums soon. I hated some people in there, but hey, a lot were nice and I had a good time in there, as well as many people too. And as Frito mentioned, good companies have forums.

He was being sarcastic,i believe.

Then he means that good companies doesn't have forums? Like unprofessional ones that use Reddit as their ''Official''? Most professional companies do have an forum for discussion, I believe.
