Question on game app for phone

Geoff

Sir "Let's Play"
Hopefully someone here will know. Okay, so my friend got me addicted to this phone app called Dawn of the Dragon. It's not "fun" really, but it's addicting either way. Anyway, I've grown attached to my character and what and I was wondering. If I changed phones (possible free upgrade coming) and they transfer over my phone numbers and pictures and whatever else, will the data from my game also transfer?

from what i gather its based on accounts isnt it? if so its just locked to your account so nothing to worry about

Does the game require you to sign in? Some games have an optional service that you can sign into and it will sync urr saves across your devices. If not, then your save will need to be manually transfered either through a use cable to Ur computer or an SD card in your phone or a third party app like Titanium Backup, but that will require root access

Then you'll have to transfer the save file to your computer or move the game onto an external microSD card. If you root it you can use a program like Titanium Backup to backup save files and sync them to other devices.

(I believe.)

well from reading about that game it says you need a internet connection to play it and there are ingame purchases so it suggests there is an account be it a one time login or something like that

There's actually many topics in which people say they changed phones and needed someone to help transfer the character. Interesting.

Usually any backup tool that will do both the app AND it's associated appdata will do the job - titanium backup, Super backup, etc.

Beware you may need a rooted phone to use all of the features though.
