A note on TF2 server lag spikes

    I've canned replay on the servers for now as it seems to be causing massive lag spikes and rubberbanding from CPU usage jumping over 100%.

    Will investigate further tomorrow, hopefully this is the cause and only a temporary problem.

    Update: Replay isn't the core of the problem, but is contributing to the issue. There are still lag spikes on the servers, and valve is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it. There is little we can do until that happens, but it shouldn't be too long.

    Just a note that we are running a pre-release beta of TF2 that attempts to solve these lag spike issues. If anyone still observes server-wide lag spikes as of this post, please let me know!
