So apparently Atari has done this as a strategic move to severe ties with its French parent company who has been in financial trouble. They are working on securing independent funding for continued development for games and mobile games.

Atari is reportedly having problems with its credit facility who is thought to be holding back release of new games.

The parent company of atari who took over in 2008 has seen its shares drop 50% over the past year.

Not gonna lie, I had no idea Atari still existed.

I believe they're talking about the Atari logo itself.

I'm actually very excited to see who ends up with the Roller Coaster Tycoon brand after it's all said and done. :)

I heard rumors...about a RCT4 being in development by Atari, and it seemed very legit , but nothing has been said for quite some time about it. They said they would have a release date and more details after RCT for 3DS was released.
