CorruptDictator I want a custom title, but I dont trust VintagePC

Never would have expected EA to be the first (if any) to back down on this feature.

Yea... I'm on the fence as to whether this is real or if its just a PR stunt like saying SimCity being online isn't DRM but that it is an "MMO". Until they release a game that usually has a code, BF4 for example, I'm not going to believe it.

I got this info from Force, so he actually has something to say regarding this and basically is saying that this is NOT EA being nice.

Have you or "Force" ever played a used game?

Online Pass is not a sale on future DLC. You don't pay upfront a discounted price and get future DLC's. It is a pass code (think product or serial key) that you must type in to play online. It is proof that you bought it new. You can only use it once. If you buy a used game, the code is probably already used. So if you want to play Battlefield or Madden online you need to buy an Online Pass from EA, which is usually $10-$15. New game at Gamestop is $60. Used game is $50 (or $55, can't remember). The Online Pass was created to destroy used game market. Or if they don't destroy it at least they get a piece of the pie.

So this is actually EA being nice. But as Nightshade said, I'm sure they will introduce something else that effectively does the same thing, but give it a new name.

    It sounds as thou
