[Open] TF2C Servers running an older version of the game?

I'm pretty sure my TF2C is version 2.0.3, at least that's what it says in the top of the main menu. When I try to connect to a VaultF4 server, it tells me the server is running an older version of the game. Should I backdate my game, or is something else causing an error?

Hi there!

I believe the latest version is actually a second release of 2.0.3 , which was published briefly before the devs took the downloads offline a few months ago due to an error with one of the update files. Unfortunately as the official server provider I cannot provide any guidance where to get the update. :-(

As far as I know our servers are up-to-date with the latest files provided by the dev team, and given the above I'm inclined to think the error message may be incorrect and it is the client that is out of date.
