...punch me in the nuts. I want to be reminded what it's like to be an EA customer while saving my money. I'll just wait for the Battlefield 4 Super Ultra Premium DLC Star Fuck Activision and Steam Pack for $30 six months after the initial release.

    k thx.

I may do the same, but it looks so good...

If it's a good game, fuck waiting 6 months.

But that's the thing, it's not. EA is turning Battlefield into Call of Duty.

Two years between sequels isn't Call of Duty... yet. Unlike CoD, they seem to add a lot to this iteration of the series. I mean, how long has CoD been using the same game engine? Since CoD 2? DICE made fucking Frostbite 3 two years after boasting their efforts on Frostbite 2. Don't shoot it down before it comes out. Let reviews/critical reception be the judge of where the franchise is going.

Not sure if it's a good or bad thing, but I've never really been 'screwed" by EA, not that I remember.

I have never been screwed by EA, but their incorporation of small in-game purchases, is annoying as hell. If a game looks good, and you think you will enjoy it, get it, otherwise don't. It's up to you, but don't bitch if you don't buy it but all the people you do play games with have, and when you finally crack and buy it, no one plays it anymore.

Ea is my hero. They publicly insult their customers who then go buy their games. Mmm can you smell that sweet smell of capitalism?

Sad but true GJ. If people hated EA as much as they claim... EA would be out of business. People are saying that their practices are OKAY because they give them their money.

That's why I'm not doing it this time. I'll wait for their entire game with all DLC's and premium services to go down to $30 before I buy it.

You are still supporting them and their shenanigans and bad company practices. It doesn't matter if you get it for $30. or $10. Giving EA money says that it is okay to keep doing what they are doing. If you don't like what they are doing, stop buying their product. If you don't care about their past practices, then buy away.

Unfortunately some good developers are under EA, such as Visceral, or Bioware, and now Respawn. This makes things difficult, as you want such developers, but not to support EA's practices of fucking everyone.

Yup. Would have bought PVZ2 in a heartbeat if it was on PC (but that's currently a moot point)... now that EA owns popcap... not so sure.

Do even a tiny bit of looking around and you'll find tons and tons of complaints. They made the game pay-to-win and grind heavy to get new plants without paying. It's a real shame.

    Let me rephrase that.

"Yeah, that's why I won't be spending money on their game. Until the game goes down in price, then I'll happily spend money on their game."

So, you WANT their games, you just don't want to pay full price.

Yup... that's what I meant. unless they pull that stuff from PC release (HAH! *snort*)... ain't gonna happen. There was some talk of this b/c PC is a much less friendly platform for microtransactions in games like this. Probably rumours though. EA gotta keep printing them benjamins.

This... Don't buy it at all. If you REALLY want it, wait until there's another Origin humble bundle and give all the money to charity. Stoooooooop giving money to these people. They got voted worst company in America 2 years running and are still raking in money hand over fist because assholes like you say you hate it and still buy it anyway.

I don't claim to hate EA. I fucking love them. They are my god damn heroes.

And worst company in America? Really?

    What about PETA?
    ...Bank of America?
Bank of Fucking America. The scumbags that illegally foreclosed on the wrong houses. And to make it wore, they deliberately lied to their customers about the status of their loans so that they could deny, perfectly eligible customers, a loan modification that would have saved them from being foreclosed on. BoA actually gave cash rewards to its employees for foreclosing on houses.

EA charged you $15 for a shitty DLC, then laughed when people actually bought it. BoA paid its employees to make people homeless.
