I actually never thought I'd make a ban appeal for something like this but here we are.
I got banned for "team stacking" and "STAT PADDING" lol.

The team stacking is a maybe but I got 0 warning for it. (I almost always join Red team first and so does notsocreative and most people I know) and besides that stuff happens nearly every match regardless.
The stat padding part is outrageous because the stat padding = trying to not die, so the admin did not get the context for that.

I still feel the ban to be wrong and that's why I made this. Any rational comments would be appreciated.
Edit: Creative got banned too?! At least let them off the hook lol

Alright, based on the internal staff discussion there are a few things worth mentioning.

The first is that while we generally don't have a problem with playing passively within the normal constraints of the game, we do have a problem with gameplay that's deliberately meant to either exploit the stats system or unfairly inflate points. We've actually suspected this of you for a while and it would appear one of our staff confirmed our suspicions when they witnessed you disconnecting/reconnecting when you would have otherwise died in the game, and that is where we draw a line and it crosses into griefing territory. It's consciously depriving someone else of the score for a kill and inflating your own.

You've also explicitly called what you do "stat padding" a few times yourself in-game, which probably has more truth to it than you're trying to portray here and I'm inclined to take the term at face value given your K/D is far in excess of anyone else on the leader-board apart from a small handful of (i.e 3) players with fewer than 2000 points to their name.

As for team-stacking, that also goes beyond just "oh we are friends on the same team", and the staff have noticed a recurring pattern of behaviours like you trying to hop to a team that's actively stomping the other, partnering up to steamroll, or otherwise contrary to the general spirit of the game. You've said yourself it's a "maybe" so we'll leave it at that.

We don't deal with what-about-isms in ban appeals. You're the one that got called on it and just because someone else gets away with it doesn't mean you get a free pass if it's against our rules. If there's a problem with another player, report them and the staff will keep an eye out.

Per our server rules, warnings are a courtesy and we may skip them believe the player should know better and/or if the decision to act on an infraction is made after the player has already left the server. At that point the first temporary ban is what serves as the "warning".

Now, to the matter of the punishment. I do agree that a week ban is excessive for the situation and so I will commute the ban to "time served", which would be about 2 days and in line with our guidelines on a first offense. However, I am not going to overlook what seems to be unfair manipulation of the points system, and after the aforementioned internal discussion, we think it appropriate that your profile be de-listed from our leader-board at this time.

Alright fair, but I'll keep simple from here on.

If you think a few cases of me saying stuff like me stat padding for shits and giggles (when I really don't care much about the leaderboard that much) is a little out of reach.

Just because I don't die that much doesn't mean I exploit points lol, because I have a heavy defense mindset. If you don't die that much or constantly get 12+ killstreaks, then the points will continue to go up. Not only that, but when you're the best player on the team you give your team the best chance to win. You don't have to take me seriously there if you don't want to.
The reason why I played here in the first place was there some good players that I enjoyed facing. Even if I'm on the bad end of the team who's getting steam rolled, I try to stop the other team's momentum plenty of times. But anyways...
